Omar Epps, rappers Wiz Khalifa and Quavo, and Chukwudi Iwuji have been set to star in gangland drama Moses The Black, with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television on board as executive producers.

At Pasadena Playhouse, Chukwudi Iwuji portrays Cyrano with a more obvious sense of injury. His societal wound, while not attributable to any physical imperfection, is more apparent — the lived truth of marginalization. Best known for having played the lead villain in James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” Iwuji is an accomplished Shakespearean, and he wields Crimp’s language with a prowess that is at once dazzling and fierce.

UK-based Chudor House Productions has picked up African and North American format rights to Croatian scripted series No Matter What and is working with Johannesburg-based and LA-based partners on local adaptations.

Obie winner Chukwudi Iwuji (James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy) will star in the title role in Cyrano De Bergerac at the Pasadena Playhouse. Writen by Edmond Rostand and freely adapted by Martin Crimp, this production is directed by Mike Donahue
